| June 2, 2009 New Video Finally Here!
Well, I finally posted a new video on YouTube! I'd been trying to find time to work on it for months, but with the one-act play festival back in March and some touring in April.... blah blah blah. It's finally up! Yeah! And I'm wearing a cowboy hat and a wacky western blazer to complete the effect. It's in the style of a variety t.v.-show appearance by a western singer. Yeah, it's a little weird but, well, I do weird things. The song itself makes fun of how no matter what you put online there's going to be someone there to say something mean, stupid or evil about it. The best thing about this video is when people do leave mean comments it looks like they're playing along with the joke! It's flame-resistant! Hope you like it! Headlining Shows in NYC!
Tuesday, June 23rd and Wednesday, August 12 That's right, a full-length set from yours truly in NYC! My first headlining set in New York in over a year! I'm really excited about these shows, it's a nice club, centrally located and not too expensive for the comedy fan. Only $10 and a one-drink minimum gets you in. Plus, I have a lot of new songs and material since my last show and I can't wait to put it all together for the hometown crowd. Make reservations because the show will fill up fast! An Evening with Rob Paravonian New CD!!I am very happy to announce that I'm working on a new CD that will be released early this fall! I have new songs and a lot of favorites from the last couple of years that have yet to be released and I thought that this summer was the time to put it all together. I'm in the studio working on some studio versions of songs and there will also be some live recordings on the CD, a bit of everything. Another reason I'm really excited for this CD is it will be my first project that will be widely available via digital download. That means people in Europe, Australia, South America, will have as easy access to the CD as people in the States! Look for it on iTunes, Digstation, and wherever else I can get my quirky little self into.
Don't wait for Comedy Central to re-air me...Last month some friends emailed me that my performance of Particle Board from Comedy Central's Premium Blend had re-aired on Comic Remix. Well, you don't have to wait for the show to come on again (or wait for TiVo to record it, which it can't because the TiVO info has me mixed up with Judah Friedlander).
